Setsu-Gekka – Moonlit Kamakura & Sasanqua | Japanese Winter Night Desk Mat

Product Description

Bring the beautiful winter scenery of Japan into your busy everyday life.

When you spend long hours at your desk for work, studying, or gaming, do you sometimes feel:

"My desk feels a bit bland"

"I want to change my mood"

"I want to incorporate my own style into things I use every day"

If so, this desk mat is for you!

It features a design that depicts **snow-covered mountains, a quiet full moon, illuminated snow huts (kamakura), and vibrant sasanqua flowers** all in one piece of Japanese-style art.

The calm color palette is accentuated by the golden moon and red sasanqua flowers, turning your computer desk or study table into a special space that lets you feel the winter of Japan.

What is "Setsugekka"?

The design prominently features **"Setsugekka"**, a beautiful expression cherished in Japan for a long time. It represents the most beautiful natural scenery in the seasons: snow, moon, and flowers. It also conveys the idea of **"appreciating the beautiful nature of each season and enjoying its beauty."**

The white snow, the moon floating in the night sky, and the sasanqua flowers blooming in winter are all depicted in this design, expressing the natural beauty valued by the Japanese in a single landscape.

This is not just a Japanese-style design; it’s made with the hope that **"even in busy everyday life, you can appreciate the beauty of the seasons."**

🌕 Moon — Light shining on a quiet night

The full moon gently lighting the snowy landscape represents a serene and magical winter night in Japan. Placing it on your desk lets you feel a moment of calm amidst work or study.

🏔️ Kamakura — Warmth in the snow

A kamakura made of snow is one of the winter landscapes representing snowy regions of Japan. Though the outside is cold, the inside is lit warmly. This contrast gives a feeling of **"warmth in the cold winter."**

🌺 Sasanqua — Color blooming in winter

Vibrant sasanqua flowers bloom in the winter scenery. Adding the red flowers to the silver snow landscape expresses life and warmth within the quiet scenery.
